Sakarya Phase 2a FPU Osman Gazi: Sail-Away Ceremony for Floating Production Unit Successfully Held

On 17 October 2026, the Osman Gazi Floating Production Unit (FPU) set sail from Filyos, Türkiye, for the Sakarya Gas Field in the Black Sea. The OceanSTAR Elite (OSE) team was honoured to be invited to the sail-away ceremony and celebrate this milestone alongside our clients.
Congratulations to TP-OTC, Global Offshore Engineering (GOE) and the entire project team on this achievement.
We are proud to be part of the Sakarya Phase 2a FPU Osman Gazi project, with our scope covering complete engineering for the FPU’s topsides, hull and marine systems, mooring and risers, together with site technical support.
